Holy wow. Not just the 9:1 on your bonus, but the 3:2 you're going to get on it after. That dealer will be corrected quickly once a put boss sees that.

I don't think it went on all day and it was the relief dealer. I'm just curious to the edge if the payouts were as they were getting paid.

It lowers the house edge by 5.18% The 6 deck version has a house edge of 2.79 or 2.6% ( Mike or Stephen's numbers respectively), so at least a 2% player edge.

that is the best part of playing new games. That is about the only AP I can ever manage.

When we got tables in PA, there were many dealers allowing early surrender instead of late.

A friend of mine was playing bj a few days ago that had the House Money side bet. The dealer was paying ALL suited bj's the 9-1 payoff, not just AK suited. What would the HE for the side bet be in this case? Playing rules are: 8D, H17, DOA, DAS, RSA, no LS. House Money pays 9-1 all suited blackjacks, 4-1 straight flush, 3-1 pair, 1-1 straight.

I think I was at the same table as your friend. ;)

I was waiting for someone to catch this and correct the dealer, but they never did.

Were you sitting next to third base?

I think I was two away from 3rd base.

I wasn't playing the house money bet. Even though this was probably +EV when the relief dealer was there, I still loathe side bets.
