I'm running some blackjack simulations (I wrote all the code myself).
I'm trying to simulate a single-deck game where rule-of-6 is being followed. 2 hands; 4 rounds.
Once every 8 or 9 million decks, I run out of cards. Do "rule of 6" places really follow the rule of 6, or will they shuffle early if the deck gets low? What happens if the cards run out mid-round?

Any time I played SD and the cards ran out they shuffled the discards and kept dealing from there.

Dealers try not to run out, but it happens. They shuffle the discards and finish out that hand.
Shed not for her
the bitter tear
Nor give the heart
to vain regret
Tis but the casket
that lies here,
The gem that filled it
Sparkles yet
