Thanks - I'm here now, only for about 24 more hours...
Quote: beachbumbabsDon't they have to tell you when the cards are being shuffled? There must be SOME indication...
Nope! And most v-BJ is single deck shuffle after every round.
Thanks for all your prompt replies.
Quote: OfthetribeThis game specifies that it uses 6 decks and reshuffles after 2/3. It also switches out dealers every now and then. The clear implication is that the deck is shuffled with each new dealer. My understanding of Vegas gambling regulations is that they take a dim view of any kind of misdirection. I wonder whether the game makers would take such a risk. But again, I don't really know. Oh and dealer hits on soft 17, but still the calculator puts the game at 99.42% payback. Assuming I know when the cards are shuffled, would a higher-level system (like Omega II) be worthwhile? I'm new to counting but that Omega II actually makes perfect sense to me.
Thanks for all your prompt replies.
You can't count this game. The shuffle points do not correlate with the changing of the dealer nor do they on a BJ table game.
