First off I want to thank Renzey for Kiss III. It's worked great for me so far. Recently I've dabbled in some balanced counts and have them down fairly well. I'm interested in tweaking the Kiss III count a little more but when it comes to knowing if it's better or worse, I'm unsure.
What if instead of the normal Kiss III method of counting, we added a -0.5 for all 9's(EDIT MADE IN POST BELOW, CHANGED TO -0.25) and turned it into a balanced count?
How will this compare to Kiss II and normal Kiss III?
Could someone run sims to test this?
Or is my idea completely wack?

Thought a little more about this, looking at the 9's EOR, perhaps it would be better to count only 1/4th. Say every 9oD?
I wonder how much of an effect this will have on the Index play of normal Kiss III... or the count itself in general?

I guess it is a simplified Level 4 count with a slightly higher error rate.
-1, +1/2, +1, +1, +1, +1, +1, 0, -1/4, -1 (Kiss III Tweak/new count?)
instead of
-4, +2, +4, +4, +4, +4, +4, 0, -1, -4 (Some lvl4 count)
I would love someone to run a sim of either of these counts. Or perhaps someone with better count creation know-how would be able to say if this is actually an improvement or not?

Hi Rorry,
Yes, the new system will have slightly bigger betting correlation and playing efficiency. But this is not worth the efforts. And there will be a slight decrease in insurance correlation.
