Is there a math wiz out there capable of calculating the house edge for the following rules? If yes, many thanks in advance.
I spent my 7th and 8th grade math classes staring at beautiful, unattainable Jenny Petersen, as a result of which I've always been a step behind on pure equations stuff.
1) 8 Decks,
2) Stand soft 17,
3) Double allowed after split (but not A's, which get only 1 card),
4) Double on any 2 cards,
5) Only 1 split allowed of any hand,
7) Hybrid Surrender Rule: Surrender allowed vs 9, not allowed vs Ace, but Early Surrender allowed vs 10's.
8) BJ pays 3 to 2.
9) Peek, I think. While the hole card's not dealt until after the players play, all Double and Split bets are refunded in case of a dealer BJ, which I (think) makes the effect identical to Peeking. Do I have that right?
Thanks very much for your help.

Thanks for replying, Sodawater. That's a very handy chart.
Leaving out my casino's weird Surrender rules, my 'realistic results' house edge is about - 0.50%.
According to "Rule Variations" Appendix at that site, Early Surrender vs. 10's is worth + 0.24%. Has anyone ever seen a number for early Surrender vs 10's anywhere else? I'm not sure why, but + 0.24% seems a touch high to me.
That would drop the house edge I'm playing against to - 0.26%, or even a hair lower than that, since Surrender against 9 is allowed, as well.
Isn't - 0.26% an abnormally low house edge?

Its low but I would not say abnormally low. High limit rooms are often at or around this house edge.Quote: hmmm23Isn't - 0.26% an abnormally low house edge?
Why do you think a pretty girl half in and half out of a skimpy costume comes around to offer you a free drink? After a few drinks, a few tips, a few other distractions, the strictly mathematical house edge will be less relevant and your play will degrade.
