Appendix 9 shows upcard, player's hand, stand-hit-double columns. What does the last column, "probability" show? Does it show probability of winning or losing? I can not see a relationship between these figures. Thank you.

It is the probability of getting that hand in the first place, assuming no dealer blackjack.
