Quote: jiffSomething interesting happened in Vegas. I was playing BJ and using Zen count. TC was 3 there was about 3 decks remaining. Dealer had a 6. I had 11 and double down to receive a 4. Count on the table while in play remained the same, everything canceled out. Dealer had a 6. 3 then 8 giving him 17. I like to know what the chances of this is.
Ummm... the chances of those exact cards coming out in that order? the chances of doubling down on ONE HAND and having it not work out for you? the chances of specifically doubling on an 11 and losing when the dealer has a 6 up? I'd say you win 7 of 10 in the last scenario, so it was 30% chance.... just an educated guess.....

The more you play, the more likely these rotten situations will happen. Also it seems evrytime I wong into high counts, I catch all the neutral card to give me stiffs while the dealer gets the high cards. This game takes nerves of steel.
You're right. I played correctly and that's all that matters. Just a run with bad luck.
