There's a pretty decent promotion at the Gold Strike casino in Jean, NV in a few days I thought I'd share..
There's $5000 worth of cash drawings throughout the day, and in order to earn tickets you can play marginally +EV games. They have a video blackjack machine that's 4 decks, 38% penetration (it's a dealer's angel VBJ machine), and has around a .4% house edge off the top that comps 1% of your action. You can actually count cards at this. Normally it wouldn't be worth playing, but for this promo the cash drawings add a good amount to the EV. And since it's a low roller joint chances are if you go there with a couple buddies you can probably lock up more then half the tickets in the drawing.
