Need help with true coun jn high low system

Hi there, i'm starting in this counting card strategy, i know the basic i know how to count a deck in 20 seconds eith music and distractions , the one thing i don' t really get, is how often do the true count? I mean you have running count of 12, and you have 3 decks remainig, you have a true count of +4, now you keep playing with the true count, the rest of the game? Or when the true counts hits 0, you start another running count? How are you supoused tu use the true cout after 5 hands?

You update the TC after every hand, where TC = RC / decks remaining.

So your tc? Becomes the new running count after the hand?
