Hello everyone,

I'm new to this place and after trying to get tons and tons of review about Bovada and 5dimes, I thought I would seek expert's lights regarding the 5dimes case, or more specifically, their Single Deck Bonus version 1, 2 and 3, as well as their 2:1 versions

I tried to understand exactly what would be their House Edge by using the Wizard and BJ21.com basic strategy calculator but their options do not seem to match exactly 5dimes's rules (except for the straightforward ones like 3/2 and S17 or H17). so I'd really appreciate if you guys could help me here, or maybe point me into the right direction :)

I guess my questions would be:

- How does a new single deck shuffled after each hand factors in? I think I heard this was an advantage for players?
- How does Charlie factors in?

(I calculated a House Edge of 0.27 for 1 and 2 and 0.21 for version 3 for the Single Deck version, not sure if that's correct though)

Single-Deck Bonus Version #1
After each hand played, a new single deck is shuffled and dealt. Blackjack pays 3/2. Dealer hits on soft 17. Double down on 10 & 11, even after splits. Split pairs up to 3 times. May split and resplit aces. Late surrender available, even after splits. Insurance pays 11/5. Seven Card Charlie is automatic winner.

Single-Deck Bonus Version #2
After each hand played, a new single deck is shuffled and dealt. Blackjack pays 3/2. Dealer hits on soft 17. Double down on initial 9-11. Split pairs up to 3 times. May split and resplit aces. Late surrender available, even after splits. Insurance pays 11/5. Seven Card Charlie is automatic winner.

Single-Deck Bonus Version #3
After each hand played, a new single deck is shuffled and dealt. Blackjack pays 3/2. Dealer stands on soft 17. Double down on initial 10 and 11. Split pairs up to 3 times. May split aces once. Late surrender available, even after splits. Insurance pays 11/5. Seven Card Charlie is automatic winner.

2/1 Blackjack Version #1
After each hand played, a new 4 deck shoe is shuffled and dealt. Blackjack pays 2/1. Dealer stands on soft 17. No double down. No splits. Late surrender available. Insurance pays 11/5.

2/1 Blackjack Version #2
After each hand played, a new 4 deck shoe is shuffled and dealt. Blackjack pays 2/1. Player loses ties on 17. Dealer hits on soft 17. Double down on 10 and 11, even after splits. Split any pair once. Late surrender available. Insurance pays 9/4.

2/1 Blackjack Version #3
After each hand played, a new 4 deck shoe is shuffled and dealt. Blackjack pays 2/1. Player loses ties on 17. Dealer stands on soft 17. Double down on any first 2-card combination. No splits. Late surrender available. Insurance pays 9/4. Six Card Charlie is automatic winner.

Thanks for the help!

Very late response. But playing there "FOR FUN". Looks like Version #2 is best.
I've got these three MULTI-PLAYER versions in my Play-for-fun list.

Single Deck Bonus Version #1 -0.24% (split Aces DO NOT HIT)

Siingle Deck Bonus Version #2 -0.10% (HIT SPLIT ACES!)

Single Deck Bonus Version #3 -0.205% (split Aces DO NOT HIT)
Some people need to reimagine their thinking.
