If one is playing on a 6 or 8 deck table and using basic strategy, is the BS table based on a 0 true count.
If so, if one is counting cards on such a table, flat betting, and following BS, at what true count should you leave the table? Just to be clear, the player is not doing any advantage play. Just following basic strategy.
Thanks

Basic strategy also presumes no counting, therefore, all subsequent rounds are of unknown composition without scoring. The deck is presumed to be "perfectly nd evenly distributed" since there is no method employed to determine otherwise. One must treat each new round as if were "off the top of the shoe".
Some people need to reimagine their thinking.

At what true count should you leave the table? There is no easy answer to this. The BS strategy for the borderline cases starts to change almost immediately when the count moves in either direction. You have a disadvantage off the top, so I will argue you should walk away at counts below ~ + 1.
But if you only play at counts above +1, then you are an advantage player. What a conundrum!
