Dunno. I have not seem them there, but they keep moving them around though, you have to look for them really hard, and they are always packed, so it's a waste of time. The website says they still have them.

My brother was there last weekend. He was actually shocked at how many $5 tables there were, particularly on a weekend.
I invented a few casino games. Info:

It's not hard to find. There's a big section in the Casino of the Sky, by the Lost Guest Assistance booth. They're packed, sure, but what do you expect?

Weekdays before about 1pm there is a pit near the wolf den in casino of the earth with $5 6D S17 shoes.
On friday's there are ladies only $5 tables by Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville in Casino of the Wind.
24 hrs a day there are $5 CSM H17 (hit on soft 17) tables by Sky valet.

Huh... I didn't know Mohegan had S17 tables, period.

Heh. Nothing is hard to find if you know where it is :)
I am not complaining they are packed, just saying that it's probably not worth looking for them, because, when you find them, there will not be a spot for you anyway.

I think they are all S17 actually, except for (some of) the $5 ones.

Yes all MS 6D shoes are S17 games, with terrible 66% penetration.
The $5 CSM pit is H17.
MS also has a funny no-split 10's rule, not sure how that came about.

The good news here is that every blackjack table at Mohegan Sun is S17 with the exception of those 12 CSMs. You will be grandfathered at any $5 table. You can play at that level all day and night and take as many 20 minute breaks as you please. The bad news is their poor penetration. It takes a long time to find the very few that give decent pen and the average visitor may not be able to.
The player's card is like a debit card. One point is $1 cash. The card can be used anywhere on the property including the gas station. Green action will get you some decent comps but if you're going to play $5 a hand forget it. You will get 8% for a whopping 40 cents per hour.

Nice casino but for whatever reason I have been getting destroyed on the blackjack tables. Pretty good rules for an Indian casino though.

Made the drive a few weeks back...made a days pay in about 7 or 8 shoes & called it quits. I get tired too early in my old age. It was a Saturday so it was a stiff $10 minimum (& very claustrophobic). At first we only saw $15 tables for 6D shoe games, but they opened fresh tables @ $10 in the casino of the earth. No need to count...had surprisingly decent players at the table & the dealer match was helpful as well. They have terrible penetration, but they still have relatively fair odds on the 6D/S17 shoe games. I'm going back soon.
