I received an offer in the mail that is a bit ambiguous. It is from the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa.
The offer says:
"I also invite you to participate in any of the following Casino Evetns:
$50,000 Winner Take All BJ Tournament
$200,000 Double Exposure BJ Tournament"
It doesn't address any of these questions:
Does it cost me anything to enter the tournaments?
How many players typically play?
I could get some info if I call them, but before I do, I thought asking here is good.
Any idea what the value is for these BJ tournaments in general or Hard Rock Tampa specifically?

I would imagine that they would tell you what the entry fee is if you are expected to pay it, but it doesn't hurt to call.
I can't really give you an EV for lack of information. If we assume that all players in the first one are equally skilled, your EV is simply $50,000/number of participants. You can't lose (money) if you are not paying, so your EV is doubtlessly positive, that's always good.
