Decent win at craps...

So I was playing craps at JANugget this past Easter Weekend...I have actually AVOIDED playing, because the table seems to just grind up EVERYONE (do or don't, it doesn't matter!)
BUUUT, some familiar faces (heavy hitters) were playing, so I decided to try my luck with them...I bought in for $200
Now, when I bought in, the layout was absolutely COVERED with black/green chips (Full table, probably 6 heavy hitters) so I ASSUMED it was going decently...
From the time I BOUGHT IN...the table went absolutely to SHIT! Straight up EIGHT SHOOTERS 7-out IN A ROW! I am finally up to shoot and all I had left was $30, so I put $10 on the Don't and $5 on Horn-High-Aces...BAM! Aces on the come out! In Reno Aces push on the Don't, but my Horn bet paid $57...Second roll is a 5, I asked "What's the ugliest I can lay on that?" and the other base dealer laughed and said "$25.50...pays $17" Allright...DO IT! Set down a green and a white...couple rolls later...SEEEVEN out! Sweet, another +$27! So at this point pretty much all the heavy hitters call it quits..this is at about 10pm (I'd say I got there at 9:30)...
From 10pm, until 1am, I continued to play the Don't, for $10 flat and laying ugly ass amounts (I'd lay $21 on the 6/8 to win $17.50, $25.50 on the 5/9, and $22 on the four {seemed like it always works...bet $22 AGAINST a 2-2}, and $34 against the 10 {the win is $16...in other words a 1 and a 6, which is what I wanted})...in that time period I had taken my last $30 and ran it up to $600.
I think I actually had a little MORE...because at about 1:30am the dice finally turned, and we rolled a few 7's on the come out and then made a point, and that's when I cashed out with the $600...
Funny thing too...because a couple of the heavy hitters actually came BACK at midnight and asked me how I was doing...I showed them my rack and said "This is all off that last $30 from betting the DON'T!!" Of course none of them listened to me and they bought back in for $1000 and CONTINUED to play the DO...and got absolutely destroyed in short order..
So, I turned $30 into $600 in the matter of 3 hours...20:1 in 180 minutes...not too terrible!

Did you get beat up in the parking lot later? (LOL)

Haha that is pretty cool. At least you took advantage of the cold streak. As you mentioned, many players will continue to bet the DO side and it can be tough to watch when the table is cold.

Yeah and I TOLD the betters to come BET THE DON'T WITH ME!!

Ah, but the craps table can, and does, turn on a dime.

That is what I always say...then the 7 shows and I lose...haha
