Okay here it goes and hopefully this is not too long. So a friend of mine and I for a few years now like to travel to casinos around our area which are all Native American operated, and we have one about two miles from my house. So one week after payday (we worked together) we decided to go to the casino for a promotion they ran on Wednesday nights called Bustin the Bonus where there are 6 ten minute rounds a day where the machines are programmed to trigger bonus rounds. He and I did horrible early in the night and gave up, we both lost around $150.00. I decided to make a trip to the pawn shop to get some extra cash for the week and the tools I pawned were doubles of ones I already had. I am leaving the pawnshop with $65.00 in my pocket and my phone rings, another coworker I had been telling about the promotion wanted to go to the casino with me. We went out there and played a few dollars waiting for them to call the bonus rounds, they did and I did alright came out about $30 ahead and he lost around $20 we moved to an Amazing Race machine where I played and he decided to just watch. I started getting some pretty decent spins with stacked wilds and pretty soon was up to about $200 hit a bonus and went up to $350.00. I then figured I would give the machine I was playing early another go round, the Big Event Press Your Luck. I sat down at a machine which was flashing periodically the "call attendant" screen. And I had a reason for doing this, on the other side of Press Your Luck is a Big Event Monopoly bank consisting of three machines, I have watched many times one machine flashing that same screen and the person sitting at it with a huge smile on there face because that machine was in a bonus round that just kept retriggering. I figured hey Ill give it a shot on this machine. There were two other players there a little ol lady and her daughter and they seemed to be doing alright with the occasional Big Event, I put in $100 and began playing betting a little lower than usual until they called the Bustin the Bonus round. When they called it I took my bet up to MAX and the machine played a few spins (the faster you bet the higher your multiplier) then would flash call attendant it would then go back to spinning the reels soon my multiplier was up to 25X but then the call attendant screen came on for GOOD. About 15 seconds after this happened a Big Event Bonus triggered and it was the Trip of a Lifetime feature, with a $120.00 Hawaii Jackpot which is then multiplied by your play, it hit the jackpot and my screen was still on call attendant and was not showing me in the event. I had a friendly security guard/machine tech come and look through the records on the machine, he found the occurence called the floor manager and they agreed that I should have been eligible at 10x (because I wasn't able to play my multiplier went down) and handpayed me $1200.00 bringing my bankroll up to $1450.00 pretty decent but I didn't stop there!
After the pretty decent payout I decided to go play the progressive Wizard of Oz machine, I put in $100.00 and started playing max bet within a few minutes I got a bonus feature where Glenda comes in and makes one or more reels wild I got a few of the higher paying symbols on the first reel and two wild rows adjacent to that at 2X the payout was around $900.00. I cashed out on that machine with a bank roll of $2250.00, I then decided to try the Press your luck machines again being as my good luck charms were still there. I placed $50 in the machine played at max bet while I was playing those two decided to leave and I played the remainder of my $50 and left that machine. I moved to a bank of machines next to the Wizard of Oz which have random triggered bonuses on top of the regular machine bonus. Playing in the middle of two other people who were betting low and not doing very good I put in $100 and within $50 I hit a bonus that paid out a little over $400 which irritated the other two people and they immediately left those machines lol, so I decided to try both of those. I moved to the machine to my left which randomly triggers certain symbols to become wild both in the game and in the bonus. I placed a $100 in that machine and walked off of it with around $800 I moved to the final machine of those three and placed another $100 in it I hit a very healthy bonus round on that one and walked off of it with $1700 bringing my total bank roll up to 4850 as I was leaving those machines I was approached by a security guard who asked if I had been playing the Press Your Luck machine earlier, I told him yes he then asked to see my ID (I was thinking man they are goingto try and take my jackpot or something and probably the rest of my money and kick me out for doing so good) he read my license number over his radio then asked, "is this the guy" they responded "yes" and I was like okay this is a bunch of crap, he handed me a cash voucher for $275.00 seems the last time I sat at Press Your Luck and played the $50 dollars I walked off with 3 seconds left on my timer and had a multiplier of 10X and the machine hit a big event for $27.50 how crazy, so now my bank roll was $5125.00. I was getting tired and was ready to go home I decided to sit at one more machine blow $20.00 smoke a smoke cash my tickets and leave. I put a $20 bill in the John Wayne Super Re-Spin and first max bet of $3 I hit a bonus paying out $575.00 ! I cashed all my tickets totalling $5680.00 then decided I was on such a hot streak I would try a few more machines but only put $20 in each I lost $80 and left.
I told my two friends about it the next day when I got to work and neither believed me until I showed them my wallet overflowing with hundreds I took them both out to lunch the next day then out for some drinks after work, I figured if neither of them had wanted to go out there I wouldn't have done so good or even gone out to the casino at all so they deserved it. Wow this story was long and I probably messed up on some of the math but I know I walked out with just under $6000.00 that is probably the best I have ever done at a Native casino and probably the best I will ever do unless I hit a huge jackpot ya right, or go to Vegas which I want to do really bad. Hope you all enjoyed the story.

Congratulations on your big win. get them tools out of the pawn shop. If married give a couple thousand to the wife or a girlfriend.
Or both if you have both. LOL Seriously don't let the casino get it back. Nights like yours are few and far between. ENJOY !

Nice job. Also nice to see the casino paying you for wins you were entitled to but didn't get for some reason. That is rare to see. If you would care to name the casino, it would be good free publicity.

This happened at an Indian Casino?
Oh, the wins I can accept. But with all the negative comments here about Indian Casinos, I'm quite happy that not once, but TWICE, you had favorable incidents with management that could have gone the other way.
Congrats!

And he did the right thing. Very little nagging when he goes to a casino now. At least not in the immediate future LOL

I was very impressed with the security guard that came and gave him his bonus back. The OP would have never known that he had won the money and the casino could have been sly and taken it.

It is the Clearwater River Casino, right outside Lewiston, ID. The little old lady that was sitting next to me was ready to attack that security guard if they didn't pay me for the win! The history on the machine clearly showed I was eligible for the event it just didn't show the feature on the screen.

All in all that casino is pretty good about making sure everyone gets their money I have seen them track down players in the parking lot and return tickets or cash to players who walk away from machines before a big event or a random bonus, its nice to see. The floor manager for the original jackpot was really cool she looked at the machine history and said i clearly should have won it, she took me to the cash cage and hand paid me. And no this happened a while back I have received some pretty decent wins out their but not very often, I kept all of what I won that night or atleast my family did. I don't visit the casino much anymore and when I do I take like 20 bucks with me when I get comped 25 every other week.

Is there some kind of issue with Class II machines that makes this come up? I've never missed a bonus (that I know of...), but there can be some loooooong delays while it seems like the machine is reconciling the result of the bingo game to determine what/how to pay out.

Ya I purposefully played a machine that was flashing "Call Attendant," based on previous experiences their on a similar machine where the in game bonus, not the community bonus, was going crazy dealing out multiple lines of stacked wilds and retriggering free spins constantly. Which probably had nothing to do with that machine hitting the jackpot but i tried it anyways, so the reason my screen did not show me as being eligible is because it went to the "call attendant" screen permanently as it was flashing intermittent between playing and the attendant screen. Come to find out after all this it was the little door at the bottom of the machine that was causing it to flash the attendant screen the security guard pushed on it and the screen came back online, but the machine still logged my plays and where my multiplier was at and when the machine went to the big event bonus.
