As the day progessed so did my losings, I changed games, took breaks and a long lunch. We depleted our money we planned on spending and had to hit the ATM a couple times. 5 hours later we had $100 to our name. My wife took $50 to a roulette table and I was just going to keep my $50. After walking around watching people play I sat down at a Let It Ride Table. I was betting $5 and the bonus bet, after a couple losing hands I had $38 in chips. Trying to end my painful day I bet the bonus and $10 per spot. I got dealt 3 cards K,10,J of spades, what the heck I thought let it ride and go for the flush. The dealer flipped a Q of spades, and it still didn't dawn on me. I'll go for the straight, until the guy behind me start jumping around, saying a possible Royal. Sure enough the dealer flipped an A of spades and I got the Royal. $30x1000 and the bonus paid out $20,000 for a total of $50,000. My wife heard the noise and came over to see what was going on and told me she had won $400 on roulette. The Casino offered me Cash,Check or Chips. I took the check and had to decline the free dinner and room. Because I had to go pick up my kids. After about 30 minutes I recieved a check for my winning minus federal tax. It made the ride home more enjoyable.
You can't win if you don't bet, especially the wife and kids part ;-)
I don't see the link to the pic anymore, saw it earlier. Didn't click on it 'cause I needed to herd my youngest ( a bit like a cat he is ) toward the shower. He is in the shower now, better go make sure he is using the soap. Later, 2FQuote: Wildcard2950I tried to post a picture.

Send me the picture link in a PM (Private Message, the envelope on the black bar above) and I'll post it for you. Congrats on the big win!

Wildcard sent me this picture link this morning.
I think it is weird that a sovereign area holds taxes for a government in which they don't follow.
Quote: GWAEWhy does it say insurance document? Is the royal insured?

Issuance, not Insurance
Quote: OnceDearI got a malicious pop-up on that page. A bogus media update requirement pop-up.
Sorry, I tried the link before I posted it and did not get a pop-up or any other malware.
I also tried to get the picture to post as above and I couldn't make it work with our IMG code, but a smarter person took care of it, so I'll strip the link and copy his code to my post. That way nobody has to go to the page.
And yeah, it's "Issuance".
Guarantees you some additional baby sitting for sure.
Hosts often arrange for you to receive some good mailers soon.
Good luck.
Best of luck, as always...2F
Quote: WizardofnothingCan anyone explain to me why I have hit 100k plus jackpots and they don't force me to take taxes out but on tables games hit something less then 100k like 40k and they take taxes instead of signing for it?
If a table game is paying on a 300:1 odds bet or greater, AND the win is for more than $600, they have to do paperwork and take taxes. It's in the fine print on a w2g.
Quote: WizardofnothingNo I get it , just can't figure out the difference between that and a slot jackpot of 25000-1
It could depend on the state you hit the jackpot in.
Quote: Wildcard2950Before having kids my wife and I would drive down to Foxwoods Casino in CT every couple months and have a fun time. After having kids we never really had the chance. My kids were 4 and 6 and my mother inlaw offered to watch the kids a full day. So we decided to take a day trip to Foxwoods.

decline the free dinner and room.
Please pass it to me :)
Quote: teddysDon't you have the option of having it held or not withheld?
I have never hit one on a table game but I also assumed you could choose to have it held or not. The paperwork definitely kicks in if it is 300:1 or greater.
jhit, you still got flag options? Mine are gone maybe.Quote: WizardofnothingAre we allowed to flag this - I'm not even sure what should be flagged anymore
This doesn't bode well....
