I suspect his expectation may be for a decrease, not increase. However, I think casino's offer freeplay based on your bets and don't include your winnings. Then again, NY-NY started offering me $5 freeplay "out of the blue" when I had been in there only once and played Pai Gow Poker. I suspect it was just a M life locals offer, that was successful in getting me back. I'd play the $5 FP + $5 in slots then play the craps table. I was happy when I hit a ~$150 win on $5 freeplay. Now I play more slots and get more freeplay.
