I just noticed this old 2014 thread. OP's story included, among other wins, his turning a couple thousand into $290K (profit $288K). Yes it's possible.

This trip was all Baccarat play, no BJ at all.

I had a trip where I blew out four $20K lines. Towards the end of the losing streak I'd sit there and realize that there was no way this session could end without my losing $20K, which is exactly what happened times four. Holed up in the suite for 2 - 3 days, the girlfriend, no one, could get me to come out I was so depressed. What was so depressing other than the loss was that I had started the trip winning.

Finally I decided to come out, and play with $10K cash I had won at the beginning of the trip and kept in the safe. I got it down to $2500., was about to give up when I started winning. Eventually back to $20K, ended up playing all night winning over $128K.

Took the casino limo all around town paid off the four markers, moved hotels, checked in with over fifty large in cash.

Then over the next ten days, at the same hotel, playing with my $20K line there that I had paid off, won another $289K, wired it all home.

So...yes...it is possible to go from a couple K to a huge win, in my case $2500. over an under couple week period went to over $400K, AND I took home every bit of it (net profit for the trip being about $350K).

One of my biggest losers turned around into my biggest single trip winner.

I also know personally of a guy who turned ten dollars he found into a half million (which represented $350K ahead for that trip for him, as he owed $150K in markers at the time that he found the "lucky" ten dollar bill), but in his case it turned out to be the worst thing that ever happened to him, he ended up having to exclude himself from all the casinos after losing a million that same year, and eventually losing his home and businesses. He would have been better off just losing the $150K and not thinking he was invincible.

If you've ever heard or read about the "no shoes bandit," I have spoken with pit bosses who were there and the limo driver who drove him around, he cashed his social security check turned it into over a million at BJ, but in his case like my friend, he ended up losing it all.
I tell you it’s wonderful to be here, man. I don’t give a damn who wins or loses. It’s just wonderful to be here with you people. https://wizardofvegas.com/forum/gambling/betting-systems/33908-the-adventures-of-mdawg/

So what finally happened here? (Or didn't happen?)

Obviously, it was incorrect to think that any seven figure winner would cash out in cash, obviously it was incorrect to think that a CTR is a piece of paper that would be anything a gambler could show to prove anything

AxelWolf even doubled down on this request for a CTR, and repeated it
Quote: AxelWolf

There should be a CTR.

but notwithstanding all that, AxelWolf (among others)
Quote: Mosca

Skepticism? Try outright disbelief. To this day I don't believe that kid who says he rang up a million dollars playing blackjack, even though he gave Wizard his bank account numbers to check.

continues to insist that SiegfriedRoy never won a million and SiegfriedRoy's claim is bogus and that it was due to some glitch or error in the reporting system.

Last I heard, SiegfriedRoy denied this:
Quote: SiegfriedRoy

No glitch.

but also came in later and deleted most every post in the thread,
Quote: MrV

Hmmm, deleting one's post as a public service?

including the initial claim itself! (I have to admit that deleting one's own claim, which is what that character Baccarat79 or whatever his name was did, go back and delete all his posts, claiming that "someone told me to do this," is indicative at least in that case of a false claim - but that may not be indicative of falsity in this SiegFriedRoy case at all.)

What is the bottom line? Truth or dare.

And while we're at it, why exactly does AxelWolf keep saying that he actually figured out that the SiegFriedRoy million dollar blackjack win claim was false? Could we get some resolution on this thread please.
