I would be interested to know the entire paytable was though. Is it 6/5 Super Aces Bonus? It's hard to read for sure. If he was only betting $1.25/hand, the jackpot contribution for a Royal on all 5 lines adds about 1.29%, based on 6/5 Super Aces. That's a bit of an eye test though.
Quote: teddysWas able to find a bigger photo and it does indeed look like 6/5 Super Aces Bonus.
I guess I don't need to go to the eye doctor yet! :D
The large photo let me see the individual jackpot amounts (although 0, 8, and 6's are a bit of a guess). Lumping it all together, it looks like the machine returns about 99.45%. I'm still personally playing 9/6 JoB w/STP. :) Definitely a very nice hit though!
Quote: tringlomaneThere is a progressive award for every line, and hitting all 5 Royals at once.

I'm confused...what is the progressive award on every line? Isn't there usually just a progressive award for the royal flush? Or because there were 5 royals, the progressive amount reset on each line and still paid out too?
Quote: teddysNot bad for a $2.50 $1.25 bet! (Looks like there was a progressive award for a dealt royal):
congrats!
and for some reason i thought u were alot younger, like in your mid 20s.
mainly because u said u just got your law degree.

That isn't teddys. This is mike m from el paso, tx according to the link
Quote: IbeatyouracesJust a guess but I'm thinking each hand had its own seperate progressive.
Yep, and a bigger progressive for hitting a Royal on all 5 lines (usually a dealt Royal, obv).

Yep, but teddy did hit a Royal today though!
Do you play perfect VP strategy for the game, or do you deviate and go for Royals anytime you have 3 to a Royal ?
Depends on how high the progressive is. Sometimes you will throw away the high pair for three to a royal depending on what the royal cards are and if there are penalty card situations.Quote: RaleighCrapsFor the guys who are hitting lots of Royals.........

For the recreational player, it's best not to concern yourself with penalty card situations. I do the opposite of what Ibeatyouraces does in the 3-to-a-royal situation he mentioned above, so in the the long run I'll lose 0.00000021 more than him :)
