I drove 2,575 miles to go gambling this year, spent $222 on gas for it. I won $327 this year, and that makes my 7 year total at +$88, not counting -$1060 in gas & tolls. My slot points indicate I've bet just over $150K over the past 4 years, so I'm basically even. Cumulative play time is 602 hours over 7 years. Don't expect any more updates like this in the future.
Since COVID raised table minimums, what I was looking forward to in 2019 was taken away from me as far as $5 tables, and I didn't gamble at all in 2020.

Somebody else wrote they charged their car with 2,577 kwhr for $756 this year. 2.5 megawatt-hours! Looks like they're paying an average of 29.33 cents per kwhr.

I never left the house once to go to a casino this year, I play online everyday. I win consistently. Expect infrequent updates.

I only had two trips - one to Vegas in mid-August, where I ended up $30 ahead, and one to Graton (a tribal casino in the San Francisco area) where I nearly broke my cardinal rule ("don't play 6-5 blackjack" - I thought Graton was like Cache Creek, where all of the games were 3-2) and I think I lost around $40, so that's a net loss. At least the Beef Wellington was good.

I have not gambled in a casino in three years. I do make my sports bets online in Florida with an occasional lottery ticket thrown in. I haven't played a slot machine or video poker machine in over three years. When Florida gets online poker I will probably start that back up.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

Craps on the other hand...
As for the end of 2024.. turned $2k in freeplay into $800 on +eV games. :(
Buffalo paying squat. A bazillion MoneyBalls before hitting and no multiplier. Must hits going to the top.
New Years resolution:
Max bet on Must Hits
Craps is paradise (Pair of dice).
