This is to be one of two related posts, the other being ;'The Golden Goose.' They explore two related facets of gambling philosophy.
So, the Holy Grail I refer to is a system, scheme or Advantage play which may or may not be real. Only the holder can know that.
Let's say, you discover a process that gives your enough foresight to reliably and consistently beat one or more casino games. Maybe you get a 80% advantage at Roulette, or maybe you have something so much better than blackjack card counting, that your player advantage is ridiculous. Maybe you discover a flaw in the design of a classic table game, just as Card counting was discovered to be a flaw in Blackjack. Not 100% foresight, but enough that the sensible application of Kelly Criteria, you have negligible risk of ruin and absurd player advantage.
Let's further say, that you have the bankroll to exploit this enough to buy as many sports cars as you like. (Think Richard Prior in Superman 3)
Now.... You don't need help or financial backing to exploit this Holy Grail. Revealing this Holy Grail to others might 'Kill the golden Goose' (To introduce the other thread)
Logically, it would seem insane to even think about hinting that you have this treasure.
But human nature being what it is, one might be itching to tell someone, to show it off, to share your magic, or simply to boast (Truthfully, of course)
What would you do? And why?
This isn't a dig at any member here. There are a few here with variants on the Grail.
This is about trying to understand why ANYONE would post on a forum about having the Holy Grail of a reliable money maker that the casinos might want to defeat.
*Cock a snook is to Thumb one's nose as a sign of disrespect.

Psalm 25:16
Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.
Proverbs 18:2
A fool finds no satisfaction in trying to understand, for he would rather express his own opinion.

Um, Cock a snook I imagine is one of those British terms that is totally meaningless in America because I have no idea what that means (although I can sorta infer.)
For Whom the bus tolls; The bus tolls for thee
