Could someone please answer the following questions. What are the odds of throwing 6 7's before throwing a 6 or an 8? What are the odds of throwing 7 7's before throwing a 6 or an 8? The 7's may be in a row or may not be in a row..

Well, the probability of throwing one 7 before a 6 or 8 is 3/8, so the probability of throwing 6 7s before a 6 or 8 is (3/8)6 = about 1/360, and the probability of throwing 7 7s is (3/8)7 = about 1/959.

So do you run a progression on the Lay 6 or 8? Might get lucky on the Come-outs!
