I'm starting to hear about somebody who goes by the name Mikki, whose real name can allegedly be found here. Mikki claims to have won tens of millions playing mainly baccarat, but also roulette and blackjack. Of course, he is secretive about how he does it. His evidence is mostly pictures with piles of money and chips and posing with other Internet celebrities. Mikki is, not surprisingly to me, open to being staked with others money.

There is a very well done video about him below.

Direct: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkBAzTDwZrM

The maker of that video does an outstanding job challenging Mikki's claims. However, one claim he doesn't challenge is the notion that Mikki has been kicked out of casinos for winning to much. Players don't get kicked out only for winning too much. Maybe at small "sweat the money" joints, but none of the types of places Mikki allegedly plays.

On that contrary, those are the players the casinos will try the hardest to get back. How do I know? I know people at the highest levels at the biggest casinos in Vegas. As it should be, they welcome clean play. If somebody wins a suspiciously large amount, they may study the play carefully and/or hire an outside expert, sometimes me, to evaluate it. 100% of the time I have evaluated such play my conclusion was the player was just lucky, usually 2 or 3 standard deviations. My advice was always to roll out the red carpet and welcome him back. As far as I know, my advice was always followed and the gambler lost the money back.

The question for the poll is do you believe Mikki?

Well, If you were impressed by that, watch the follow up.

Spencer just got totally suckered by meeting the guy.

Either that, or he sold his soul for the traffic.

Spencer: are you forreal?
Mikki: yeah
Spencer: this guy is a genuine human being and he is forreal

My opinion: Of course Mikki is a [redacted]. And Spencer is his useful fool.

Yeah. I thought Spencer was much too soft on him and just didn't know the right next move to play to what Mikki said.

For example, Mikki showed Spencer one win/loss statement from one casino in one year. Elsewhere in the video Mikki claimed to have a relationship with every large casino in the world. A recreational baccarat player is surely going to win at one casino in one year if he plays everywhere all over the world. I personally would have made that point and asked to see more statements. I also would have made the point that for table game play, these statements are not very accurate and can be easily manipulated by the opposite of rat-holing chips (is there a term for that?).

I would have also asked to see any logs of his play and tax returns declaring the alleged gambling winnings.

About casino security planting bugs, cameras and untying shoelaces while the room was empty, I wouldn't be able to help but roll my eyes.

Mikki, meanwhile, played Spencer like a Guarneri violin, so my compliments to him on that.

It still be noted that Spencer never said he changed his position on Mikki having an advantage. Mikki provided no new evidence he could.

The fact remains that Mikki is still full of big claims of beating baccarat for tens of millions of dollars and has provided no substantive evidence.

Is it a coincidence that the title of the post eerily resembles that of a long running thread about a, how can I say it without getting suspended again: "controversial" member of this forum, one whose claims are almost uniformly rejected as being just so much bloviation / hot air?

Mikki's videos are (unintentionally, I'm sure) hilarious, as are those of the unnamed forum member.

I can't help wondering if it is really unintentional? An Easter Egg here, an Easter Egg there.

Very interesting topic. I have delved quite deep into this guy’s story and past, and I am 100% convinced he is fake. Apparently his father or grandfather was some rich mogul (pharmaceuticals I think) and Mikki inherited a small fortune from a Trust Fund when he turned 30. Now he is trying to act like he’s self-made, but really we all know he got his money from mommy and daddy and from scamming innocent, hard-working people of their hard-earned money. I wouldn’t trust him as far as I could throw him. Spencer went too soft on him. Hopefully he goes a little harder when he investigates the “Professor Slots” lead I gave him a couple of months ago.

Has anyone come forward to claim they lost money with or because of this guy??

Is there any investigation by authorities about him? Any charges filed? Any criminal record or history of civil lawsuits?

I do not think this is the standard to be applied.

"Not convicted (yet)", "no charges (yet)", or even "not under investigation (yet)" doesn't mean he's square and you should give him your money so he can multiply it.

I do not believe his incredible, fantastic claims. While there may be an element of truth in them, I do not think we are hearing the whole story, and I think that Mikki is making sure we are not hearing the whole story.

In all fairness, I'm jaded, and think that the poll is missing the bigot reply.
May the cards fall in your favor.

It has come to my attention there was already a thread on Mikki here: MIKKI BEATING BACCARAT?.

Per my own policy against multiple threads on the same topic, I'm closing this thread, despite some good posts. Let's keep it going at the thread I just linked to.

I apologize for making the duplicate the thread on the same topic.
