The suite with jacuzzi is a Lanai suite at the Cosmopolitan.
At Hattie B's (fried chicken) at the Cosmo I have observed the butlers, who will pick up food for guests staying in the penthouses or bungalows, standing in line just like everyone else. Would a butler have to stand in line at Secret Pizza too?
Actually, the day after this monstrous line I did get a pizza at Secret Pizza and it wasn't bad, but there was no line at all which makes quite a difference in terms of wanting to deal with it. Secret Pizza has a "fresh garlic" topping which adds quite a lot of good flavor to their pizzas.
I'd say that on the Strip the pizza at Grimaldi's is pretty good. Also gotten a decent pizza at Buddy V's which is also at the Venetian.
For a higher end pizza, try Wally's at Resorts World, truffle pizza (porcini truffle purée, truffle oil, buffalo mozzarella, wild arugula, shaved truffle) - it's not very big and it's expensive but it is very good. (Tried the pizza also at Mulberry Street at RW, didn't like it all that much, as it was a little mushy versus crispy.)
Allegro at Wynn also has a decent pizza, as does Cipriani.
Looks very nice
2 FT 10 deep lol
The Lanai Suites are on the 14th floor of the Chelsea tower, at pool level, which keeps them relatively quiet because the Chelsea pool isn't used as much as the Boulevard one, and the Marquis club is located off the Boulevard Tower. You still hear the music from the pool, but they seem to have three different sound levels, one starting in the early morning, one that kicks in slightly louder by late morning, and then full volume by early afternoon. But with the sliding glass door closed the sound levels are never bad inside the Lanai Suite.
Down the hall (inside the hotel) is the Chelsea tower gym, and the Sahra spa.
That wooden door in the Lanai Suite jacuzzi patio leads directly to a small passageway that leads to the Chelsea pool. You may also use it to come back in. This is a similar setup as in the Red Rock and Green Valley Ranch villas, which are also at pool level, but at those resorts the pool is at ground level.
The Lanai Suites (two stories, 800 sq. ft) are basically mini-Bungalows (three stories, 1695 sq. ft.) but unless you are a serious partier you won't want to deal with the noise from the Marquis nightclub which invades the peace of the Bungalows five days a week.
Comp wise even though the Lanai's are smaller than say, the 1200 sq. ft. Wrap Around Terrace Suites at the Cosmo, they eat up quite a bit more comps per night.
But with the Lanais direct access to the Chelsea pool remains!
Another plus to that exterior access is that the maintenance guy who comes daily for the jacuzzi may enter and leave without bothering you. But in the Bungalows the jacuzzi is located on the top (third) floor and the maintenance guy has to come into your room just to go up there.
As far as that Lanai suite jacuzzi is concerned I just go out there and get into it naked. My wife keeps laughing and saying "you shouldn't do that" but I don't care. Chelsea pool goers may catch a glimpse through the bushes if they are looking hard, or maybe another Lanai suite inhabitant if happens to walk by at that moment, but otherwise the only concern I have is ending up in the jacuzzi naked when the maintenance guy arrives which is usually around 9am, and this hasn't happened yet. I imagine I'd just ask him to turn around, grab a towel, and go back inside.
Also when there are windstorms the thing may get filled with leaves (and desert moths). The night of that particular storm I scooped out a half bag (say, about half of a 4 gallon trash bag) of plastic bag trash and leaves because we wanted to use it and didn't want to deal with seeing any maintenance people.
Quote: MDawgAs far as these desert moths, as far as I know Cosmo is the only affected resort on the Strip. Even right next door Caesars, that also has suites with balconies, doesn't seem to be affected. You'd think that an older resort like Caesars would be overrun, but for some reason these moths have congregated at the Cosmo. I started noticing them at Cosmo at least a couple years ago.

In case you aren’t aware my son is a leading world expert on all things moth. If you have any specific questions I can ask him for you.
They are pretty big moths, around an inch in length with a wingspan of at least twice that.
I was told that they tend to accumulate around this time of year, or summer, but I have seen them around Cosmo in the fall too.
Also maybe ask him how or why it could be possible that they would gravitate around just one particular hotel on the Strip. For example when you are inside the Chelsea gym on the 14th floor looking outside you see them flying all over the place on the side of the Cosmo building.
Quote: MDawgPlease ask him if these moths eat wool (I was told they do not), and what they do eat. From my observation they just gravitate heavily towards light and otherwise don't seem to bother humans directly, other than flying around annoyingly. They do tend to fly inside even during the day though once given an opening.

Those are called Baccarat Moths.
They gravitate towards people who win consistently at Baccarat.
You may be stuck with them for awhile.

Then why don't they follow me to the other resorts?

The other resorts have invisible nets to catch them.
First prize,
if you grow vegetables you should have, though I suppose different people have different namesQuote: SOOPOOSon said they are not clothes moths. He said he can’t be sure from the picture, but he thinks they are cutworms. I had never heard of a cutworm.

if you try to swat the adults so they don't land on your plants as they are flying around, you find they are ridiculously impossible to hit ... the evasive action is amazingly effective
I was able to kill them in the evenings by turning on the lights only in the upstairs bathroom and then when they would all gravitate to the shower or enclosed toilet area I would swat them with a large towel. Wasn't really very hard but it was somewhat time consuming. Every now and then I'd decide to just forget about them, but when I had a spare minute I'd follow the above procedure and swat them to death.
In the pictures I posted you may see several dead on the floor of the shower, and a couple I put on a tissue to take a closer shot.
For some reason I had envisioned Krispy Kreme as a place where donuts came out of a machine fresh and hot minutes before being handed over to the customer, but turns out it is just like any other donut shop (not that I know much about donut shops, but from what I could see). So it turns out that all I know about Krispy Kreme is that they went public in 2000. And again in 2021.
But after eating a healthful meal like this,
I wasn't too keen on eating a donut. My wife didn't want it either. I ended up eating some cherries instead.
At least two of my hosts kept trying to get me to go to one or more of the Stanley Cup games in the casino suite, but I wasn't in town. I could have been there tonight!

Having been to a few of their games it is quite an experience. I think I would have wiggled around my schedule…. I was at Islanders first Cup winning game and it’s a memory I still have vividly. Also took my son to the Bandits’ (lacrosse) first championship game and even though it’s a minor sport it didn’t feel minor in the sold out rocking building!
You should have went!

Back when I did used to play in Tahoe though there were times when hosts would tell me that I was the biggest player currently in town, and this was all before I had private tables. It would just depend though - New Year's Eve or Fourth of July at say, Caesar's Tahoe you'd routinely have million dollar players and at that time, I was not near that level. But during regular times the way I played was very heavy action compared to anyone else around. I've been in Tahoe casinos on a weekday when the amount I was betting on a hand was more than the entire rest of the casino combined.
Over all my impression is that Tahoe casinos these days don't attract nearly as much high end action as they did say 20 - 25 years ago.

I really don't mind commercial other than the baggage limitation which usually affects my wife more than it does me.
Flying in from southern Cal, between getting to the airport, dealing with TSA, arriving, picking up your luggage, and then getting to the hotel, you don't save much time versus just driving as long as you don't hit traffic, but it is much less tiring to fly. In my opinion flying is for trips that would take 5 hours or longer to drive.
