"Our New High Limit Room is open! This is the very first High Limit Room, located off the Strip, that offers both an elevated and semi-private gaming experience. We also have competitive Table Game limits on Blackjack, Roulette & Baccarat. Let the ambiance of the room carry you through an upscale atmosphere with access to a private bar, where there will be a Mixologist serving hand-crafted drinks, along with a dedicated cashiers cage for all your transaction needs. Come down to be one of the first to experience Red Rock’s new High Limit Room!"
The problem with Station casinos in general is their low public table max bets - for example only 10K at Baccarat, where on the Strip it's from 15K - 35K, so I'm not expecting as much of a max special limit at Red Rock.

It was a lightweight session not much trouble. Ended a little ahead.

I'm willing to present a side Challenge. If anyone doubts that any one, just any one of the Session reports I present during this trip is not entirely accurate, throw down a red flag! Put up a mere ten grand in cash, let's work out how to verify the Session to your satisfaction using the Wizard as the judge, and winner takes the twenty thousand.
I'll contribute five hundred from my end for the Wizard's time if the Challenger will do the same, so that's $19,000. to the winner of this side Challenge.
This Side Challenge remains good for the duration of this particular Vegas trip.

Was rough at times, down as much as -25K twice. Pressed into a Player run to come out ahead, and leave. You just have to lay the money out when it's called for, and not worry about it. "Scared money can't win." - meaning, that if it's time to press, PRESS.

Not too different from the Day 2 day play in that I was behind -20K at one point but rallied nicely to win by the end.

Major screw up. I was up a solid amount +67K over the course of several shoes and then dumped all of it and then some in maybe six hands! Not good. Had to stop then it just wasn’t happening. It was really just as much about player fatigue as I played too many hours straight without eating all day.

If it were a large sum I'd turn it in, but a few hundred or less, I don't bother.
When I found this
on the ground in Vegas, I just scooped down and picked it up without even losing a step.
Another time I walked into the casino and a green chip was rolling towards me, in a wide arc, I just kept walking, lowered my hand and scooped it up while it was still rolling, again without losing a step.
Money just comes to me.

A solid step back in the right direction. I was on the verge of a serious win in the neighborhood of 80K but I let up on the gas. Still nice though.

This was originally performed live, twice, in 1955, and then extended into the 1956 movie.

Yes I left almost immediately after the run. Yes quitting while ahead does work.

Blackstone held a gathering for Cosmo employees and declared that a drawing would be held to give five thousand to the employee drawn. The winning ticket was read - as EVERYONE! was declared the winner, and Cosmo handed out five thousand dollars to each employee (net after deductions came to about three grand).
Quite a parting gift! to the tune of almost thirty million.
That's impressive. It's hard to imagine many companies doing something like that. So many only care about cutting every possible cost...especially when it comes to employeesQuote: MDawgBlackstone lays a parting gift on Cosmopolitan Vegas employees

Quote: MDawgThe exact number might lead to busy bodies trying to track me down (which some have nothing better to do). But my first trip this year was one of the best I have ever had, won a grip. (Not as much as the million you posted about winning, that Wizard looked into, but a good solid three quarters or so of that amount.)

that's really impressive. Especially based on how many trips/days you spent. I think that's harder to do than somebody like me getting lucky on 3 trips.

There was definitely some up and down, I was ahead ten fifteen K, then back to even, then ahead ten K, and then gradually, almost imperceptibly, pushed past twenty K.

Win regularly, as I do, AND avoid the black holes, and you're going to come out ahead significantly.
It's not easy to avoid the black holes. For every black hole that one might get sucked into, there are the times when any kind of loss at all was averted. So it's definitely hard to know when to try to make certain it's a winning session, and when to walk away with a moderate loss.
Quote: MDawgOver the course of time, or really over any extended play, if you avoid the "black holes" of big losses and you have any tendency to keep your head above water you'll do fine. Otherwise too many of your wins might get swallowed up in just one day.

Mumbo jumbo gambling tactics combined with mumbo jumbo law assessments.
Good going.
Just avoid black holes. When your psychic powers acquired at birth by your X-Man mom kick in so you can predict the black hole, caused by a losing streak, make certain to avoid it.
Meantime, MDawg cleans up. For real, and proven, while all Dark has proven is that he's unwilling and unable to adapt and willing to follow such behavior to its inevitable end.

It will have to be in the fiction department unfortunately.
Meanwhile mine will be in autobiography.
And I don't recall saying I lost big. Not sure where that impression came in. I guess $20,000 a week isn't impressive these days.
Not when MDawg claims to now be profiting $20,000+ EACH DAY but thinks what I do is disruptive to a casino business model.
I posted it a month ago and he refused to even try because he realizes he has no clue.
Quote: darkozIt's interesting you don't seem to understand that Theo does change
Answer this question and we will see how much you understand. (Assume you are being rated in all instances, I e using your players card.)
A) you gamble for four hours and lose nothing. You get comped 35% of theo.
B) you gamble for four hours and lose nothing.
But you also return a week later and make a single wager which you win and then you leave.
You still get comped 35% of your Theo.
Question:. Will you receive the same comps in scenario A as scenario B?
Your claim to understanding how Theo is calculated is on the line here. Answer wrong and you will become a laughing stock
Waiting for your reply.

Are we supposed to be impressed you make $20,000 a week or impressed you occasionally make $20,000 a week. I don't know why you keep bringing up that exact figure?

Because people seem unable to understand that I don't make $20,000 OCCASIONALLY nor do I make it every week of the year.
I probably make $20,000 a week maybe thirty weeks of the year
I suppose if you think making something more than fifty percent of the time is occasionally making it then fine.
I am sure people who do tax preparation for a living and only make their money for three and a half months of the year only occasionally make money by your definition.
As to why that amount because it's the amount I make. Don't understand why you would question why I keep mentioning the truth. Something weird about that.
EVEN WEIRDER, MDawg has been saying he is clearing $20,000+ a day (which ups my claim by a magnitude) using no advantage but you don't seem to question that claim.
Like you say in a recent thread, the world is apparently what you choose to believe, not what you should actually believe.
