Don't Come and Come bets

What are the rules of betting the don't come / come lines in various settings (Vegas, Bubble craps, online). I've seen some different rules depending on which site I play online.

After the point is established can you place a bet on both the don't come and come lines on the next roll?

As always, the rules are whatever The Box says they are (as backed up The Floor, The Pit Boss, etc.) or whatever that darned machine says they are. I use 'bubble craps' for any electeonic craps whether it has that glass (plastic?) bubble or not. I do hope others are more precise in their responses however. First time I put two separate but equal bets on Come and Don't Come the dealer took my Don't bet and stacked it atop my Come bet. I was at that time too naïve to argue, now I'm too sensible to waste time arguing with a casino crew.
