Syndicates are commonly formed by Asian players. They pool their money together and select a player to play for the group. This is usually processed with much superstition. Then there will usually be a few reporting representatives from the smaller subgroups that make the entire group. This is very common and why you will often see 3 or 4 Asians behind another Asian gambler.
