Correct me if my math is off but the odds of rolling a 4 before a 7 is 2-1. So wouldn't that make the probability of rolling 2 4s (or 10s) before is 4-1. So if I plan to parlay the first hit on the 4(or 10) and play for 2 hits then I can get a 6-1 payout on a bet that's 4-1 against me. I don't know a lot about the math of these things so this seems too simple.
Let me know what you guys think.
Quote: d1cedealrHi this is my first post here. I know there is no betting system to beat a game with a built in house advantage. However, there is a casino in my area that offers a couple of bets that I believe have no house advantage. The field on their craps table pays triple on both 2 and 12, otherwise it's std. They also offer a free buy on the 4 and 10 up to the table max (5-500). So my question is, is it possible to use a betting system to get the advantage over the house on either of these bets?

Cool so you are near that ABQ casino we were talking about. Good to hear they are still offering those bets. Unfortunately, the odds of hitting 2 10s before a 7 are not 4-1, but instead are (.333333)x(.3333333)=(.11111111) which is exactly what a parlay bet would pay.
Quote: ahiromuIt would be fun to run a martingale on the field bet with a 0% house edge. Especially since you could hit the 2/12 for triple for an extra kick.
The problem is that's what slightly increases variance, which is what you want to avoid. That extra kick is needed to get you to the 0%, so you are going to lose more rolls than win. Hopefully not too many in a row though!
