In playing baccarat particularly using a good progressive martingale system, winning is likely in short term in 24 hours ,after how many hands of winnings,I should stop playing until 24 hours are over, waiting until next day? martingale system is used as 1 ,2,4,8 whereas 8 will be stop-loss points.

Please tell me how many hands are considered as short-term as chance of winning is higher instead of long run.

It helps if you have a magic monkey to put on the table and cast a voodoo spell on the shoe.

Every hand you play, you have the same chance of being at the start of the streak that will break your martindale.

No one can answer if you are going to get that unlucky right away, or how long it will be until it happens.

a good progressive martingale system

I know I'm going to regret this, but how might one be distinguishing a "good" one of these vs. one that sucks, say perhaps by turning what use to be your money into pocket lint and a line pass for the buffet?

Got data?

Since the house has an edge on every hand I'm not sure how you reached that conclusion.

Martingale has upwards of a high 90% success rate for short term small wins, but at some point it all comes crashing down and you hit losing streaks of "30 * ;) ;)*" in a row.

Not sure what 1,2,4,8 repeated over will look like. Obviously it's a losing system but -EV is -EV no matter what you do. It may be more fun than flat betting (I think so)
If he thinks its a system that actually works short or long term hes mistaking.
