Bet ¢25 on the previous color, if i doesn't hit, switch to the color. Then repeat with the following betting pattern.
So basically what are the odds of Red then Black to hit consecutively 10 times.
1- .25
2- .25
3- .75
4- 1.50
5- 3.00
6- 6.25
7- 12.50
8- 25.00
9- 50.00
10- 100.00
I have used this in play mode for an hour and I've won $45.00, I know its a matter of time before I lose.
Thanks.

well, as you can imagine no one has thought of anything like this before! You'd think the online people would not have left themselves open to this, but ....
Double Zero: ( 18 / 38 ) ^ X
or
Single Zero: ( 18 / 37 ) ^ X
Quote: Joyner808Thank You, So (18/37)^10= 0.0007425194 So thats 1 in .00074% chance of it happening? or 99.925748 chance or not happening?
It's both, though the decimal point in the first is off; .074% of it happening, 99.925...chance of it not happening.
Quote: Joyner808I would still like to know odds of lossing
The odds of doubling or losing your bankroll are both approx 50:50 with losing it being favourite.
Note to mods. Seriously, are the recent joiners who propose Martingales and roulette strategies all from the same ip address of the same junior school?
Quote: Joyner808Thanks Guys. Does not seem to bad to try only with a $200.00 bankroll.
There are better plays available.
If you were attempting to maximize rounds of play (entertainment value), you would flat bet.
If you were attempting to maximize winnings, you would selectively place bets where you had an advantage to win.
Quote: BozAre you willing to risk $100 to win .25?
Bingo! We have a winner!

what plays would be better in your opinion?

OnceDear,
It's part of my routine to check IP's on all new posters, because we've had a rash of dupes. If they're still in blue, it's because they were not dupes by IP. Beyond that I can't say.

What do you want to accomplish?
Is there some reason you want to play a game with a high house edge?

I would like to be able to play for a good length of time and slowly make some money. And roulette is small enough Mins bets to do that.

The expectation with roulette is to lose a little over a penny for every 25 cents you bet (or a nickel for every 95 cents bet)... unless you know something.
Video poker would generally have a lower house edge, and often allows similarly small wagers.
Playing even money roulette wagers and hoping for a string of wins and martingaling is... risky.
However, I'm a big fan of doing what works - so if this system is winning for you, enjoy.
I hope it keeps working for you, and that you manage to stop before you lose it all.

Thanks. Ive changed it up a bit, I bet the first three bets on Red or Black then after that fails i switch to betting two of the Columns. something like this
.25
.50
.75
1.75 1.75
5.50 5.50
16.50 16.50
50.00 50.00
It seems to work better. Now only have a starting bankroll of 149.00

Joyner... Please listen carefully. Lets's say for the sake of interest that $149 is a significant amount of money to you. There is no combination of roulette betting strategies that can influence the house edge. The more often you wager, the closer your actual results will be to the theoretical results. Whatever your betting pattern, you are just a little less likely to double your money than to lose it. You are just playing a variation of Martingale. Google it: research it. It is a very, very bad strategy. Not just in theory, but in the experience of many real gamblers.
It is akin to betting money on a game of russian roulette, where you will win frequently and be destroyed once.
Assuming you are going to gamble ANYWAYS. Let's say you have free promotion chips or something. I don't think variations of martingale is a horrible strategy. Say 1 2 4 8 16 32 stop win or lose and repeat. Possibly mix it up a bit. It has.more entrainment value that flat betting.Quote: OnceDearJoyner... Please listen carefully. If you're playing it because you think it's a winning system or you keep going untill you're risking tons of chips then it's a bad idea.
It's amazing how anyone believes this crap can actually over come the HA in the long run.
