Hi
Some years ago I posed that question to the wizard Of odds in relation to 37 number roulette.
His cryptic reply was " It depends on your perception "
I emailed using either my real name or as my then username Fergus Lee.

I think Mustang Sally and a chart by the Wizard gave you a pretty good answer on page 1. If something less than 100% us good enough then it doesn't take 416! hands or whatever. It is on the order of 10,000 to 20,000.Quote: winbacFrom the beginning post, I've consistently stated that my system is winning and would like to continue to test it. Recall my first and only question was how long? How many shoes / hands? It was an honest question.
If you refuse to accept the math based on probability then I guess you could just make up your own answer.Quote: winbacSo I tried several times to explain that long term probability doesn't apply to the individual gambler. Only the casino can rely on the long term.
