I apologize to Sox for my mistake and to others for creating controversy.
This was absolutely in no way a ploy to win a side bet or test Beachbabs in any way, that was pure coincidence.
It would have been edited immediately if I seen BBB post. However it was to late when I seen the post(I had to find the 3M extra strength duct tape and purple chippies), so I sent a text to a friend and had them PM her. I personally sent soxfan A PM as well.
If the mods felt I should have been suspended for this, I would have accepted the ban and asked Bob for a female voodoo doll ;). seriously I would not have been upset, nor will I ever be upset if I get suspended.
Personally I would NEVER want anyone to get suspended(especially if somethings directed at me) unless they are absolutely over the lines spewing hatred to others or telling blatant serious lies about me or a friend.
I don't get a happy feeling like some people when others get banned. My friends/partners would have been happy as clams if I were to be suspended, that way I would get some other back burner AP work done. Perhaps they will digg up some old stuff and have me suspended for it.
Quote: IbeatyouracesSpeaking of typos, "in" or "is"?
He had to have meant, "In," those two letters are on completely opposite sides of the keyboard...lol! Good eye, by the way, I read it as, "Is."
Quote:I tried to refrain from posting regarding this, as I thought it would just cause more unwarranted controversy on this situation. If say it was a mistake some people will call me a liar (more bans). If it was a absolute joke and no offence was taken, I have no clue if it would be ban worthy if SoxFAN knew it was a joke and didn't feel it was ban worthy.
Oh I think I see where the "typo" occurred. Quite clever -- and hilarious as well.
A long-standing question: is it a typo that Mission ALWAYS precedes any " with a comma ? (Note: he refrains from it in his signature, though.) Makes his posts sometimes difficult to read -- though never as hard as AxelWolf, with surprising capitals, "their" for "there", "then" for "than" etc.Quote: Mission146He had to have meant, "In," those two letters are on completely opposite sides of the keyboard...lol! BTW, Mission's use of the comma looks grammatically correct to me, depends on your editorial slant.
Bob I was tempted to say, F and U are not next to each other nor is many other keys, however on a phone EVRYTHING is next to each other. I mostly Joke with sarcastic remarks, but I never mean any real harm like some others do.Quote: EvenBobG in not next to N on my keyboard. Its not a typo.
I don't want to cause BBB or Mission any more BS so lets not.
If you really want me suspended, then just ask the wizard and if he feels its necessary to do so, I will not be upset in anyway. I will just get other things done.
I do have a life. This board offers some FUN (I personally gather very little information from here, witch was my original reason for joining. I have a love hate relationship with gambling forums free flowing information) and It's a break from other things, but I spend way to much time on here as it is. SO NO BIG DEAL
Yes its true that I have unexpectedly meet some GREAT people on here(Thank you Wizard for having a great community) and it's lead to some new opportunities that have been both fun and financially rewarding. And Probably lead to some close life long friends. I have had very good friends/business in the AP community for over 20 years that are still going strong(so i know its possible). I have even reconnected with some old acquaintances and learned ore about them then I once knew.
If it excites you to see someone to lose something, a 3 day suspension would most likely gain me much more then I would lose.

Please correct me if I am mistaken, but I believe either way is grammatically correct.
I wouldn't know, English is not my first language. But it looks weird to me, and definitely hard to follow. Maybe you are referring to those " 's beginning a quote? But what if it is just one word or an expression? The comma seems superfluous, if not counter-productive?Quote: Mission146Please correct me if I am mistaken, but I believe either way is grammatically correct.
Honestly, I thought it was a predefined Autocorrect in your word processor...
That's my understanding. Sort of like the en dash and em dash where the suggestion is to use consistently in your writing, hence my comment about the editor's preference.Quote: Mission146Please correct me if I am mistaken, but I believe either way is grammatically correct.
Quote: kubikulann...English is not my first language.
That was clear from other posts you've made where you mentioned it. But permit me to say you do very well, as well as many for whom English is the mother tongue. BTW, much of what you observe causes untold headaches for native English speakers, it is a very illogical language, grammatical rules seem arbitrary and capricious and the pitfalls abound. Paco has a good thread at DT where he explains why "receipt" still has the "p" while many words of the same origin do not.
Quote: SOOPOOThis thread is 'guess soxfans system'. The last 3 PAGES of posts are discussing where a comma goes, or something like that!
Actually my second choice for naming the thread would have been something about comma usage.
It appears the details of the system will remain a mystery, and I'm ok with that. Honestly I'm just jealous because soxfan hangs out in delightful smoke-free casinos, and I'm stuck in Vegas :(
(Should I have put a comma after "delightful"?)

Lack of evidence, proof even an smidgen of substance would suggest that we all should believe this because we read about it on the interent, therefore is definately true.
You are, quite simply, a liar! I did post up shoes on your forum. Also, on the baccaratforum I started a thread titled "post em up" where I posted shoes I played denoting real money wins and losses along with the progression/mm scheme I was using at the time. The gr88888one and other, I am sure will attest to that, hey hey.
Quote: MoosetonNot sure what he meant with that one. Cat turned coconut?
I met the guy at the casino and before I started play I told him he could watch but to refrain from asking me any questions until the end of the shoe. But, from the get go he was peering right over my shoulder and asking me all kinds of questions and such. He disrupted my concentrations and thoughtrains, to the point where I became really annoyed and had to stop playing. In fact, I was getting close to popping him in the mouth, bt the pitboss saw what was going on and told him he couldn't bother players and he soon after hit the bricks. So, that's what I meant by saying the cat turned coconut on me, hey hey.

This horse is so dead I can see the bottle-green flies from here. It's all cool, Axel, and EB. Nothing left to see here; move along, please. lol....

Yeah you started/posted your shoes up at the post 'em up thread.
Here is the damn proof!

Maybe I'm missing something, but the "coconut" portion of the saying makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever. How is a person who asks questions , gets too involved, and is annoying... In any way similar to a coconut??
You are trying to ask someone to explain, why he thinks somthing. That very someone who has a "Bac system" Good luck with that.Quote: michael99000Maybe I'm missing something, but the "coconut" portion of the saying makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever. After a google search for "turned from a cat to a coconut", showed no results... I then realized its a completely made up saying. I'm no longer surprised that it makes no sense at all.
The fact that he's got a bac system ties a neat little bow around everything.
Next time just ask, I felt no need for a Google search. Baccarat system players oftentimes = cuckoo for coconuts. Not sure if we can save soxfaN, before he replaces the an with a atic, ( Intervention perhaps?) yo yo.Quote: michael99000After a google search for "turned from a cat to a coconut", showed no results... Maybe I should come with subtitles, huh, hey hey?
PS: For those interested in developing their innate abilities beyond even ESP the I suggest picking up a copy of Initiation into Hermetics. I received my copy from my mentor who was trained by Franz Bardon, himself. It isn't just the best book I have ever read, it is one of my most prized possessions, hey hey!

In all seriousness, you can't be serious. Soxfan is 60+ he posted on here he has had books published, have you noticed the grammar and writing style of this pensionor? Writing like some middle class teenager desperately seeking out street credibility.
No amount of fantasy becomes reality just because you repeat it often enough, rest assured you what you read on the internet is not necessarily always true and definitely isn't in this case.
Dam that name looks a lot like a different one from here.Quote: Jockim

Did you make an account just to bash him? Obviously this could be ban worthy since its a new account and your first post is meant to be derogatory, I'm guessing this is just a throw away account anyways.
Perhaps you are him trying to get some more chatter going. Wouldn't that be a hoot, calling yourself out, then get some controversy going. Then come back on and clean it all up.
Do you mind elaborating on whats not true? You already went this far. You really didn't point out anything specific about what definitely isn't the case.
I once shared access with Hugo on an exclusive private forum which had multiple layers of access to weed out lurkers, free loaders and spivs. This aged pensioner got rather upset when his access was downgraded due to lack of and zero contribution, after being extended the opportunity to regain his status, he either choose not to or could not contribute (all that was required is proof, that you did actually make it to a gaming table once in a while).Quote: AxelWolfDo you mind elaborating on whats not true? Eventually he became even more upset when he was totally removed, shown the 'gravel'. After which it was all pathetic anyway, nothing to really get upset about until after the event.
So I find it rather strange that he now reclaims to not only play the game of "da Baccarats" six days per week, but has been his sole means of income for more than a decade. A big fan of the "sure win" parlay system, he refutes this every time he is cornered on it (who would want to risk debunking their fantasy), in fact reveals nothing to indicate he manages to put down the Guinness and Popcorn bucket and make it within 10 miles of any casino, never mind 6 days per week 40+ weeks a year for the past decade.
What makes his statement more lame, is his claim to be a book author (didn’t he profess be writing yet another JFK book) notwithstanding his teenage seeking street cred writing style, poor prose, no attention to detail, grammar, infantile phraseology, even if true would have provided "cake" income. Caught in the headlights over one matter, you can be assured the rest is Walter Mitty territory. End the charade, people would not only be feeding a fantasist, wondering how this cat feeds his bulldog, dude, hey hey, besides doing themselves a disservice.
I don't know much about Soxfan other then, I used to be very annoyed at his hey hey. I have grown to like it. He is entertaining and I do enjoy seeing him post.Quote: JockimI once shared access with Hugo on an exclusive private forum which had multiple layers of access to weed out lurkers, free loaders and spivs. This aged pensioner got rather upset when his access was downgraded due to lack of and zero contribution, after being extended the opportunity to regain his status, he either choose not to or could not contribute (all that was required is proof, that you did actually make it to a gaming table once in a while).

I don't know when to take him seriously, I don't know how much is shtick and what is true. I would be the last person to judge if he is a good writer or not(does he have a book?). I can just go by other peoples word on that issue. If he claims to devote an significant amount of time to Bac and he beats it straight up, I just don't believe it.
Anytime someone makes claims of profiting from Bac or other like games under normal circumstances (non proven methods) I automatically know they are trying to fool others and possibly themselves . I have no clue why anyone would want a bunch of strangers (old and board? young and wanting attention?) on a message board to think they are something they are not, unless they were selling something or putting on a con.
Probably as much chance of that, as playing the bacarats professionally for the last decade wondering when the long term is going to kick in. I dislike lairs, simple as that and it is not good when too many start taking the lie seriously and the perpetrator an over weight, pensioner, who thinks it's hip writing like some weedy brat trying his best to be street cred, then again he is Canadian, which explains some of it.Quote: AxelWolf(does he have a book?).

Ah, the john-O the clown show is still gowing strong, how quaint. Firstly, I'm a firmly middle-aged 46 year old and I have written THREE books, though none of them have been published, as of yet. You are such a pathetic creature, but yer such a scumbag that it is hard to have any sympathy for you.
