But yeah all these systems are bogus. I have a friend that keeps buying these systems for a grand. You'd think these people selling the system wouldn't need to sell that high if the in fact were making tons of cash off their systems.

A grand is way too cheap for a system that works, which doesn't exist.

The way to win at Baccarat has little to do with betting systems, other than the general truth which applies also to BJ, of "do not flat bet."

I have played Bacc. for YEARS and the way to win is to be patient, wait for the runs or consistent patterns that emerge in shoes, and press your bet into them. On a good shoe, the trend is your friend. On a random shoe, there is no trend. Quit!

How do you know when a run or consistent pattern is happening? You just feel it. It's not based on emotion per se, it's based on a sense of recognizing when you are winning.

Leave when ahead.

If you are losing, quit...take a long break (even a full day, or two) and come back and attack the loss in segments if it is large, or all at once if small. Don't chase! DO NOT follow the adage of most gamblers, which is "but I just need one hand to turn it around."

No. The only way to win is to be lucky. You can flat bet and win if you're lucky. You just have been lucky. It's interesting that you consider one day or two days a long break. Taking a break doesn't change anything, by the way. It doesn't matter if you take a one-minute break or a 10-year break. The amount of time you take a break has no effect on the future outcome.

Played Bacc. HEAVILY from the late 90's to early 2000s, I mean up to $15K a hand routinely. Took a fifteen year or so hiatus, was too busy with life to gamble. Started again last year.

What I say is not based on a few days of play, it's based on hundreds of millions wagered ("handle" if you know what that means).

Casinos love people who think that there is no way to win. They've already lost before they start.

Not saying that it is possible to win always, just saying that in order to win, what I state above must be in play.

How you think matters, even if you play the same as someone who think differently?

Well put!

But it will not matter Mr. MDawg has made up his mind. We all know what he is saying is BS. But there is nothing you or I can say that will change his mind.
No reasons. No clear evidence. No examples. No formulas. NOTHING will change his mind. He "KNOWS" he can jump on a streak or "FEEL" what to bet next.
NOTHING will change his mind.

That is the only sure bet!

I lost at baccarat for years. Then I discovered I was holding my tongue in the wrong side of my mouth. Now I win every shoe and my only problem is which luxury car to buy next.

If it doesn't always work, it means that you rely on your luck. If luck doesn't involve, it will always work. Your thoughts are irrelevant unless you have special powers. You won't lose every round just because you think you will. You can't change your luck by your thoughts. Casinos love people who think that they can win without cheating who aren't advantage players. They don't mind lucky players. Of course, some players will be lucky and win, but most players won't.
