I haven't been gambling since I moved to Tucson, but I was aware of two big casinos near me, and a third about ten miles away.
Allow me to back up a moment. Tucson is a heavily Latino influenced city, and I've noticed the Lations refer to some streets in their Spanish names, while English people call them by their modern numbered names. That's a general observation that is not backed by science.
The closest casino to be is called Casino Del Sol ( Casino of the Sun). Numerous people told me they like the BJ there, while others told me they don't have blackjack. It's in a run-down area that I only visit to feed the hungry. The casino is a north-south road rendered obsolete when US19 opened, a half mile away.
Today I am driving the backstreets in the barrio behind Casino Del Sol when I stumble across a separate casino- Casino of The Sun. It turns out this was the original Yaqui casino . I assumed when people talked about Casino of the Sun, it was just the english translation of Casino Del Sol.
I have not been in this particular barrio after dark, and can't imagine they get much of the tourist trade.

(Fiercely truncated!)

This describes most of my all-time favorite casinos. My experience has been that I like the place less after management fancies it up in an effort to "revitalize".
May the cards fall in your favor.

This rundown casino was the first Indian casino to open west of the Mississippi, according to their website. It's a strange spot to open a casino. Three of the four area casinos are all on the border of the San Xavier Reservation, far from downtown Tucson and the airbase.

I've been there. Only time I can recall playing 3 deck and 5 deck BJ.

And I really dumped those tables too! That was a profitable day. It might have confused them, as I was speaking this strange foreign language. Kind of like a mix of German and French, and the nouns don't have genders.
