S. Lake Tahoe Evacuation

The Caldor Fire is threatening 34 000 buildings. Currently there is a massive evacuation going and all the casinos have closed. Here in Reno, we can see the smoke plume at times, but most of the visibility has been reduced to a half mile because of the smoke. They are even sending the fire trucks from the Reno Airport to assist. We have been experiencing red flag warnings for the past 2 days which has made the fire even worse and is now expanding at an accelerated pace towards the casinos.

Very worrisome situation. I hope the fire turns out to be a scare instead of a tragedy.
