Hi everyone!

My girlfriend and I just qualified for Gold cards. They didnít do the best job of explaining what that comes with at the counter. They said choice rewards would start in March but didnít really tell us what those were.

Do we qualify for the small kitchen appliance give away? Iím a sucker for a free blender or ice scraper. Should I start to expect any mail invites?

And finally is the next tier up significantly bette with lounge access and whatnot?

Moheganís intro tier ignite seems to offer a bit stronger perks IMO but wanted some outside info from people whoíve been around longer

The next level up offers you lounge access but it is limited. The details should be on their website. That would be the Platinum level. At that level they seem to be offering many nominal gifts, some are pretty nice. The lounge that the Platinum level allows access to is all non smoking which is fine with me. As to Mohegan Sun, that has been my home base for years, but even at my Soar level which is 3 levels above ignite, they have recently pulled all of my comp room offers. Their excuse if you can call it that is new programs and updates. Thatís Ok. They have now lost 90 percent of my business and I am giving that business to Foxwoods. I actually like the Mohegan Sun casino better, not at the expense of having no comp rooms offered though. Talks and conferences with player development and hosts have not produced any policy changes, at least not for me.

My experience there and at Mohegan has been that your ADT level of play has SIGNIFICANTLY more to do with offers than any tier level. They have really lowered the guarantees over the last few years. Gold does get you a 5% discount on food and 10% retail. Other than that, the shiny new card won't change much unfortunately.
