This forum has a significant Florida contingent ...
Anyone want to do an analysis of the Florida Lottery offerings.
Are there any decent bangs for the buck?
Or is one in fifty million pretty much the same as one in sixty million?

Well, I was in the grocery store and saw the 350 MM neon sign for Megabucks. Didn't sprig for the two dollars though. So I just found out there were no winners and the prize is now 375 MM.

Did I save two dollars
Was it a two dollar 'win'.
Is that 'extra' 25MM even relevant? After all, its still something like one in fifty million no matter what the prize amount is.

Probably going to buy a ticket soon though.

Or would that $2 been the winning ticket and you lost 350 million?

Seminole tribal police arrest trespassed gambler at Immokalee casino who then makes threat to blow up the police car and to machine gun the entire casino.
Not considered good timing after the very recent Jacksonville incident of a gamer's convention shooting.

Victory Gambling Ship in Port Canaveral, Florida.

Five car fire. Two cars destroyed. Three nearby cars: heat damage.

No indication of employee or passenger's cars.

Is this labor strife? Coincidence?

Sounds like they need to hire a security guard for their customer parking. Or fire the one sleeping.
Quasimodo? Does that name ring a bell?

It may have been perfectly innocent in origin and merely spread to nearby cars. I don't know. These things do happen but I like to know if its labor strife, a nutcase or a short circuit.

more on Casino Boat Fire in Pasco County: 50 passengers. Jumped into water near Port Richey.

Florida news station reporting lawyers meeting with claimants. Usual allegations of low balling.
Unexplained is why there are any such meetings at all if the claims were all moved to Admiralty court long ago and a miniscule cap placed on all recoveries.
