Quote: FleaStiffOne of two security guards interacting with Santa Barbara man in parking lot fatally shoots him. The usual 'no comment' from the tribal casino.
Bullet or arrow?
Santa Ynez tribe not likely to ever say anything and local sheriff knows where his bread is buttered too.
Quote: FleaStiffAs was the usual situation in the American West, the Indians were armed with better firearms than the Palefaces. And despite Hollywood having dozens of movies about conflict between civilians and a cavalry troop, the troopers all loved to have civilians along because the troopers had to fire in volleys and the civilians could take up the inter-volley slack.

When I went to West Rim Grand Canyon, which is on Tribal land, they corral you into a security gate where you can’t turn around, and THEN ask you if you have any weapons, drugs, or alcohol.
What if I had forgotten to take out the case of beer I brought earlier? I understand they are a sovereign nation with their own law enforcement and whatnot, but I don’t understand how they can be allowed to essentially entrap people when there is zero signage that they are leaving essentially leaving the United States are now under a different umbrella of laws.

He was accosted in the parking lot by a security officer who soon felt that he should use his non-lethal stun gun however the trespasser promptly wrestled the stun gun away from the security officer and proceeded to use the stun gun on the officer who then decided that the situation called for drawing and using his sidearm.
All joking aside, I think restraint was used and the victim was known as a violent trouble maker.
