Here's an AP article talking about the resurgence and risks involved in AC this Summer... One interesting note that I hadn't seen before is the idea that the Showboat hotel owners are thinking of adding a casino.

William Hill will be the sports book operator at the Revel / Ocean Resort...

http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/ocean-resort-casino-revel-sports-betting-william-hill-us-monmouth-park-20180529.html

"The plan is for a 7,500-square-foot sportsbook at Ocean Resort that will be in the “heart of the casino’s gaming floor,” according to a release from William Hill. By comparison, the sportsbook at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, is 5,600 square feet, a decent size compared with many along the Vegas Strip."

Forgive me if it's some place back..I thought I'd kept up...My question is one of curiosity...Did the guy know as "Glenn S..." come out of this deal okay as in made money? He was always laughed at in the media and even on many forums, but did he make money on his Revel investment? Thanks.

Yes, he made money. On another note, he should have been laughed at.

Bought the property for $82MM, another $30MM for the power plant. He owned the property for 33 months, figure another million a month in expenses...he came out approximately $55MM to the good.

Not bad for a whack job.

Which is exactly how he became as rich as he is. Made the deals no on else wanted, made crazy statements and kept himself in the media eye.

Who says America isn't the land of opportunity?
Rent this space for only $9.95 a month.

Spot on. Pretty impressive if you ask me.
