Harrah's/Ceasers/Bally's website always seems to have a better prices then sites like Expedia, but the rates literally change by the minute. There's a different price every time I refresh the page.
Anyone have any tips to getting cheap rooms without a comp?

Weekend Friday/Saturday, but in the off season, October-Febuary.
We went to Bally's last month and booked a Friday a week or so ahead of time for $130. That Friday evening, I saw I could book the next night for $27 and jumped on it.
I just booked Bally's again for December 4th-6th and could not find less than $140 a night. I am wary of waiting too long to book, because it will randomly show off season weekends to be sold out.
They are definitely not honest/consistent with their rates.

How would one get in touch with "K"?
....or how do I become a slot pro and just get my own comps :)
Sunday thru Thursady
1) $120 cash for a room @ Bally's for 4 nights ($30 per night.), or
2) $60 cash for a room @ Borgata for 2 nights, or
Fri and Sat
3) $200 cash for a room @ Taj for 2 nights ($100 per night).
What do you define as "not gambling a ton?" If you play once a month even that should be enough for one or two weekday room comps. You definitely won't get weekends comped but you should get a reduced rate hopefully.Quote: gamerfreakI don't gamble a ton of money so I don't get room comps...
If nothing else it never hurts to ask!! Call up and just ask them what rates your TR card is going to get on the weekday. If you're going with one or more other TR members you'll DEF be able to get comped weekday rooms between several TR cards...

So I did get 4 weeknights after my last trip last weekend. I can usually only go on weekends though.
Last weekend (fri-sunday) "not gambling a ton" was playing about $60 on $5 3CP and cashing out at about $200, then depositing all of that money into slots. CRAZY weekend.
It was ok. Not bad for the price considering they had shrimp/lobster.

Weekend rates can be insane at casino/hotels. I have heard that often more then 50% of the rooms are comped on weekends. Anything less then say about $200 is a good deal for a weekend in a casino/hotel.
Perhaps the cheapest rates on weekends is from now until Christmas.
Did you consider staying in a non-casino hotel? Absecon and Galloway are decent. Avoid Pleasantville and West Atlantic City though.
