A junket operator within the Wynn Macau was reportedly robbed of $258 million dollars. Apparently, it may have been an inside job by employees of Dore Holdings.

I don't think one could physically carry that many Patacas away in a wheelbarrow, so how does one make that much money "disappear"?

Players and sub-junkets deposit money with Dore. But Wynn denies ever seeing the money. The employee probably wire the money to some shadow bank or mafia and took off. And what do you know, probably Dore deals with them everyday as well.

Sounds about right - especially the bit about shadow banking. In my journalist career I covered a money laundering trial in Hong Kong concerning junkets in Macau and you'd be amazed at how easy it is/was to get money out of Macau into China.

My thought exactly. Why is the guy in red? Even Beach welcomed him with open arms, so he can't be a previously banned member.

Protipster started a blog. I am guessing there was something untoward in it and one of the other mods nuked him.

Yeah, that looks like the most likely event. Pity, if he was real, that he couldn't color inside the lines.

Most probably it was an inside job with the casino. The money can be wired any time they want. It can be a job of a syndicate operating in Macau.

People in China want to get money into China so they can be richer. Spending money in Macau doesn't help them. Spending money in China is what they want because that is where they live. So some minor corrupt official takes a fling in Macau and if he wins, he sure wants that money in China so he can become a major corrupt official.
