need information on craps

putting one unit on don't pass, after the roll I feel I should pull my unit down if a 6 or 8 is rolled, and wait for the new roll. Is this correct. Also if a lost occurs should I double my units on don't pass until a win then go back to one unit .

Use the forum for questions. A little probing will show you the way.

I usually ignore blog posts that should be forum posts, but I know a gal will not be ignored ... might as well jump in [g]

If a 6 or 8 is the point, you have a small advantage. Do not take it down! Why do you think they will let you do that?

On your second question, you are describing a Martingale strategy, which is quite ancient and quite discredited and the reason those who study ancient history aren't getting rich in the casinos.

As for the dark side, there seems to be plenty of bad advice from dealers and old timers. Another item of bad advice you hear is that it is mathematically unsound to bet free odds on the darkside. That also is quite untrue but is one that certain folks will cling to, there being a certain false logic that sounds right but is incorrect.

another person who pops in, mis-uses the site, and is never seen again? Not even to see if the question was answered.

This time *my fault* for indulging this poster.

Only sympathy I have is that a new member surely must go to the blogs because they are mystified as to otherwise post a question. This happens to much for their to be any other explanation.

It would probably be good if there was a probationary period before you can blog. This type person who doesnt even come back might as well stay flummoxed.

I totally agree. Blog posts like this one just take up space and knock legitimate posts further down the list. Plus, it's annoying that so many of these 'bloggers' are of the hit-and-run type.
