Pai Gow Poker (Commission vs Collection)
Is it better to pay commission or collection when it comes to Pai Gow. What would be the house edge on commission vs collection. I personally would rather pay collection than commission because it is less than 5%. What are your thoughts.Thank You

It depends on your bet size.
If the player wins 25% of the time (with 50% pushes and 25% house wins), then a $.50 collection per hand equals a $2 collection per win. So if you're betting more than $40 per hand, the collection is better. If you're betting less than $40 per hand, then the commission is going to be lower than the collection. If you bet exactly $40, then you pay about $2 per win either way.
