Somebody should have done a prop bet on whether the Super Bowl score would ever be a palindrome, like 34-43.

I assume you mean the final score - otherwise, every "yes" bettor would claim that the score was 0-0 at the start of the game, and you didn't limit palindromes to each team having two digits.

The only palindromic date during our lives. Next one 12/12/2121.

Any special Wizard celebration?

If you're gonna use the placeholder zero, then use it.

Today is “special” because it works in both types of formats: MM/DD/YYYY and DD/MM/YYYY.
The race is not always to the swift, nor the battle to the strong; but that is the way to bet.

Thanks. I must have misread the original article. My sons are texting me palindrome after palindrome that I hope we are alive for...

I prefer palindromic time in Unix epic time. Monday, February 3, 2020 3:00:51 PM PST is the next one.

I thought you swore that bet off for good?

I cut back, but I can't not make a positive EV bet.

It might or might not make you happy to know I defended you on that bet to a coworker a couple years back. I told him the payout and he said, "your 'friend' has no clue what he is doing. You bet $100 and win $10? What is with that?'" I told him it was not some bar friend but a top guy in the industry, not mentioning your name or site. You were just a mystery person.

Same guy would bet on anything. Won $100 on a lottery scratch off. I will give you two guesses as to what he did with the winnings but you will only need one.

Thank you for defending me. I won't even bother to explain why I'm right.

Yes, of course he blew the $100 on more lottery tickets. Just goes to show some call it a tax on the stupid.

If you take e^02 + e^02 + PI + 2, it’s pretty close to 20. Spooky.
It’s all about making that GTA
