First off amazing probability answers ive seen on the other page. After seeing all those stats I had to take a shot and ask you another one.
Im trying to get a Royal Flush in this video game. I can play around 60 hands an hour. Ive been playing for a while now and im over 20,000 hands played and im starting to get a little anxious to hit one. I was hoping you could give me a little optimism.
What are the odds of hitting a royal flush when you have 2 cards in your hand that are part of the Royal? such as AQ hearts A10 hearts and so on.
Then if its not too hard what are the chances of hitting it with only 1 Face card or A or 10?
There are 8 people at the table, I play minimum 500 hands a night. Just rooting away, but its not working anymore I need to see some percentages.
Thanks in adavance

1 card=46/2,118,760
2 differant 1 cards ie jack of spades, king of hearts= 92/2,118,760
2 suited= 1081/2,118,760
Of course the royal can also be on the board.
Hope I did the math corretly.

No cards - discard all - 383,484.8 : 1 (47*46*45*44*43 / (5*4*3*2) / 4)
One card - discard the rest - 178,361:1 (47*46*45*44)/(4x3x2)
Two cards - discard the rest - 16,215:1 (47*46*45)/(3x2x1)
Three cards - discard the rest - 1,081:1 (47*46)/2
Four cards - 47:1
Whoops - that's for Video Poker - not for Texas Hold em.... disregard.
