I'm currently writing a paper on how basic strategy is derived, I was wondering if I could get some pointers as to how a table for say, expected returns on standing/hitting, is derived? I'm looking for the calculations one must undertake to achieve a table similar in values to that of the blackjack appendix 1 on the Wizard of Odds site at
