Look folks, this mathematical stuff is easy. I don't know why y'all make a big deal 'bout it.
First, start to say "Maths" instead of math. The use of the plural is an affectation reminiscent of the manner in which a British graduate student would refer to the study of mathematics, so this way you start off seeming as if you know what you are talking about.
Second, learn ratios, you know: rations, rationing and rationalization.
Consider the following... and apply logic!

Now here we has got an example of BIAS. Dis Griffin dude he be a talkin' 'bout a terrible game but he be real dumb dude 'cause he ain't nowhere near Terribles and dat game of roulette can be played anywhere.
Now he be talkin' 'bout Double Oh be 5.26 and Single Oh be Half dat. (You remember now: you say "fifty percent" and "magnitude" now). But important thing to know is that we done got our Fifty Percent Loss Rebate... we got 5.26 down by fifty percent, so our losses be fifty percent less every spin!

So I is a gonna be cleaning clocks to the tune of about *8,700 per trip 'cause I be bettin' at a magnitude of 10 dollars and 8,700 be ten percent of 87,000. Youse guys see what I mean about ratios.

In all fairness, maths is the plural of math in the UK and Australia. For example, a math major might say "I study maths."
