My friend and I will be visiting LV next year (july/aug) and we are interested in playing a bit of baccarat and pai gow (tiles, not pai gow poker).
We arent exactly rich though, so we are just interested in low limit games. Last time I was there (Oct 2010) I remember playing $10 baccarat at luxor but never saw pai gow anywhere.
Have been told there is $10 pai gow tiles at the wynn but am not 100% sure if that is true.
Can anyone tell me where these tables are and what the cheapest limits are?
Also just curious do any casinos have baccarat where you can handle (squeeze) the cards available to the public in vegas, and if so what is the limit for these games?
Thanks :D

Absolutely not at the Wynn. The cheapest tiles game is at Palace Station, off-strip, for $10. On strip you can sometimes play at Harrah's for $15. I like playing at Palazzo and Aria for $25. A lot of casinos won't charge the extra quarter commission on a $25 win, so you are getting an effective 4% commission.Quote: Whiggi

As for squeeze games, it's tough to find for less than $100. You might try Aria. Last time I was there they had a lot of midi tables open.

Oh, sometimes referred to as Big Table Baccarat.
I won't reveal what was going through my dirty mind...
Usually Big Table Baccarat minimums are too rich for my blood so I don't have to worry much about the antics and time-wasting. I just play mini-Bacc out in the casino with all the other games. No fancy dress, no chandelier, no antics.

Not necessarily. The new casino terminology floating around is called "Macau-style Bac." This is played at a mini-baccarat table, but allows the player with the largest bets on each to hold the cards. It's almost exclusively played by Asians. Table mins do tend to be a bit lower than big bac, but higher than a traditional mini-bac table.
