I can't post links, but if you search "craps three point molly" on Google it should be the first hit. On this page the Wizard mentions: "per session, defined as playing until the shooter sevens-out." I'm assuming this means any seven even if it's the first roll of a come out roll. Would this be the case? Or would there be a requirement of establishing a point first before a shooter sevens out?
I'm trying to make a craps simulator, and I wanted to use the Wizard's figures to make sure it was running correctly. But when I implement 3 Point Molly my number of dice rolls are off. I have an average of 6 rolls per session and not the 8.5. Before I dive too deep into the code, I want to make sure I'm not misinterpreting how he's creating his own numbers.

a 7-out is specifically when a shooter's turn with the dice ends due to rolling a 7 before a number that has to be resolved. New players sometimes call this "crapping out" which is quite wrongQuote: smatchymoI can't post links, but if you search "craps three point molly" on Google it should be the first hit. a 7 rolled in the come-out is called a 7-winner and the shooter is allowed to keep rolling the dice
googling it gives this,
"In the casino game of craps, a "seven-out" occurs when a shooter rolls a seven before re-rolling the point number. When this happens, the shooter loses control of the dice and the next player takes over"

Thanks. In other words, only when rolling a 7 in the point phase, correct?

That is correct.

If you cannot post links, I am not too confident in your ability to make a craps simulator.

New members aren't allowed links during probation.
It's an insurmountable external impediment, not a shortcoming of technological skill.
May the cards fall in your favor.
