I'm a new member and hope this is the right place to ask this question.I was wondering when playing a multi game video poker machine and using a slot card.I know it's used to track your play like coin in/out and which machine your playing at the moment. Can the casino also tell which specific games your playing on the machine. For example if your playing a game with a house edge of 99% or one with a house edge of 97% for example. Thanks for taking time to reply.

Some places definitely have that data - Peppermill Reno, for instance, has backed off a lot of players and told them it was because they only played the best paytables. (They don't ban anyone, but they cut your point rate to near-zero and stop sending you offers.)
I'm guessing that not all places have a system that collect that data, and that even more places collect the data but don't bother to look at it - but that is only a guess.

Kind of dumb. Just because you pick the good paytables doesn't mean anything. I know people on NSUD that never go for gutshots, hold ragged flush draws with a deuce., etc...

Playing it correctly means you've already won.
